Former ODI skipper of Bangladesh national team Mashrafe Mortaza's mobile hospital started to work their activities from today. They are travelling to the patients home and medicating them.
No patient will have to suffer from anxiety what they will do if they happened to be infected or what other will think of them, as in the urban area people highly think about it and try to skip to pay a visit to the hospital.
But Mashrafe the elected member of parliament of Narail-2 seat, thinks a better option to serve his constitutional area people. He provided them with a mobile hospital. Where doctors will visit the patients home and do the proper medication.
The veteran player announced on Saturday that his charitable organization Narail Express Foundation will provide mobile hospital service in Narail and Lohagara sub-district during this coronavirus pandemic.
Mashrafe said to a leading newspaper on Sunday that,
"Despite the common cold and cough, no one is going to the hospital now for fear. Again many others may have other illnesses. They too are suffering at home without visiting the hospital for fear of coronavirus. That is why we have undertaken this mobile medical service in Lohagara and Narail."
If the doctor found anyone suspected to be affected by coronavirus, then test arrangement will be made for them also said by Mashrafe,
"Narail Government Hospital has not been completed yet. But we have arranged a 10-bed corona centre in that. If any such patient is found, then they will be brought here. Then the sample will be sent to Khulna for test. According to the government rules, we can test four people every day from two sub-districts."
Narail Express Foundation is working to provide home-based treatment with two local doctors of Narail. However, Mashrafe wants the children of Narail who are doctor to come forward.
"It's difficult to work with only two doctors. If some more doctors from our area came forward, more people would be given treatment," Mashrafe said.
Everyone in the country is coming forward from their respective position to help the distressed during the coronavirus pandemic that had literally shook the world upside down.
Earlier Mashrafe also helped 1200 people by providing food assistance in his consistency while he also contributed 500 PPE to the medical officer.
