A Yankee fan was ejected before Game 4 of the American League Championship Series after mocking Astros starter Zack Greinke for his social anxiety disorder.
According to NJ.com, officers grabbed a fan before the game and removed him after the comments.
“Get him out!” the officer said.
Greinke was diagnosed with an anxiety order in 2006 and has seen improvement with the help of treatment and medication.
This comes one game after Astros players and coaches complained about remarks and actions from fans in right field in Game 3.
Yankees fans were seen throwing objects onto the field in Game 3 after Edwin Encarnacion was ruled out on a close play at first.
"You throw a baseball hard enough and hit somebody in the head when they're not looking, it could do some damage to the player, so it's definitely disrespectful and at the same time very unsafe," Reddick said after the game.
Manager AJ Hinch also threatened to take action if fans were not punished for offensive remarks and actions in the game.
"I will pull the team off the field if we get in that situation again where bottles are being thrown and balls are being thrown and it becomes unruly," Hinch said Thursday before Game 4, via the KHOU 11 in Houston. "There's other ways to support your home team, and this place does as good a job as anybody to trying to police that while also trying to create an environment that's all pro Yankees. It would be a very ugly scene for baseball, a very ugly seen for the Yankees, if one of our guys was hit by something from the upper deck. Something tragic could happen and nobody wants that."
The Astros led the game 6-3 on two three-run homers in the bottom of the sixth in Game 4.
Greinke finished allowing one run in 4 1/3 innings pitched.
